I keep seeing people copy pro configs wholesale and wonder why their aim feels worse. Competitive settings should reduce friction, not fight your muscle memory.

Baseline I suggest for FACEIT pugs: 400–800 DPI, in-game sens that lets you do a 180° without lifting unless you are a wrist aimer, low blur, network graph on for one session to check loss, and voice at 30–40% so footsteps stay readable.

Video: stick to a refresh rate you can actually hold. Capping FPS slightly above your monitor refresh often feels steadier than uncapped spikes on a laptop. Disable useless post-processing; keep shadows on a level where you still read under bombsite lights.

Before anyone asks about menus: tune legit settings first. If you later use a FACEIT build, you still need a sens you can control when assist is off. Product details live on the site product page—not in this archive.

Adding: use a fixed crosshair color with outline for Mirage window fights. Change one variable at a time for a week; jumping between pro configs resets timing.

Launch options are not magic. `-novid` and a sane `-freq` match your panel; skip random copypasta from 2019 CSGO threads.
